About Me

Real Estate Broker

I came to Manhattan in 1998 to attend Kansas State University. After graduation I decided to make Manhattan my home. It truly was an easy decision, the community is easy to fall in love with.  After graduation I worked in the medical field for several years but decided to pursue “the family business” and start my career in real estate. For years my sister and I grew up working the our families real estate office in Hays. Landmark Realty, was a facet of learning that neither of us could of image how the knowledge would benefit our lives today.   Working in a family owned business instills in you a work ethic and an understanding of how to treat people and makes you aware that your word and reputation is everything.  The principles my parents taught my sister and I are the principles I live by today.

I met my husband while he was serving in the Army and stationed here at Fort Riley. It was an honor to be part of the military family in our community and another experience I am happy to have had. There is a bond here that our area has with service men and woman and their families that is unique. The sense of sacrifice is not far from the minds of the community. Even the university has paired their athletic programs with various units on post and honors the soldiers and their families as various KSU home games.

When it was time to decide where we wanted to live, I already knew and so did my husband. It was Manhattan for us.  The feel of the small town and yet easy access to KCI to see family and friends, and only being a few hours away to see my family this was the perfect place! We are true outdoors people.  Golfing, fishing, hiking, hunting, boating, bicycling, ice skating, Musicals……it is all here at our fingertips! Whether it is a day on the water at Milford or Tuttle Creek or hiking the Konza to enjoying Arts in Park (free music series) we love it.

I hope you enjoy making Northeastern Kansas your home as well!
